The boys are sad and do not want to go home. It took us about 3 hours to pack up and get on the road. All in all this park was good. I think i would give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Reasons to lose stars.
It did not seem like there were park rangers present when there were lots of people. They started going around when all the people were gone.
The other reasons I already listed.

All in All what a wonderful family time we had.

Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-451996354843205602010-11-21T13:30:00.000-06:002010-11-21T13:31:00.273-06:00Our HikeWe went on a short hike today, it was so pretty. i am so happy to have this wonderful time with our family. We are playing games and enjoying each other. Grayson is not sleeping well at night but the coffee is strong and hot and set to brew before we get up, makes for a wonderful morning. We are liking this park.

There are a few things that are different.
I thought it was a state park rule children must wear helmets when riding.
I thought there was no beer rule, but there has been lots of drinking.
There is also lots of people not being conciderate to others with their music playing.

All in all this is turning out to be a great trip. Every one in this loop is pulling out today (Sunday) and we are staying till Tue. We have the park to ourselves.

More to come.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-68092515556182239262010-11-19T19:08:00.001-06:002010-11-19T19:08:40.163-06:00arrival timewe arrived at 7:15. I had some problems breastfeeding. She has a strong suck and my poor nipples got so raw, I had a break down by the morning of day #4. I called my midwife and she was at my house with in 30 mins. She will never know how much she has touched our lives. I went again yesterday for help to get off the nipple sheilds, so far so good.

Addison, is just wonderful. I am amazed with having a girl. Its different, so different. Its hard to get used to he diaper area. When are you know is boy, boy, boy, its hard to get used to. We are taking it one change at a time.

God bless this little one.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-86602916226489926782010-09-04T22:51:00.001-05:002010-09-04T22:51:43.194-05:00One week oldWow, we made it through the first week. Addison is so perfect. I cant seem to put her down. She has my heart in the palm of her hand already. We have had a few problems. Breast feeding is not going as well as i hoped. I am having to use nipple shelds, but she is feeding well so i can not complane too much. The other problem we are having is sleep. She is up alot at night and its hard to get rest. But last night she did really well. I am about to change her and rub her down with olive oil and lavender oil to calm her then feed her and get her in bed. Wish us luck.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-31550132610307078742010-08-22T12:01:00.001-05:002010-08-22T12:01:55.316-05:00
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-54486411504595696132010-08-19T11:00:00.001-05:002010-08-19T11:00:39.967-05:00HurtingMan, this sweet girl is killing me. I have way more pain with this one than I did even with my twins. I hurt in places that I did not know you could hurt. When I sleep my knees hurt really bad, making it hard to sleep.

On a good note, Lewis took day off to try to get some of the last min things done before the baby gets here. He has to go get the boys early from Grandmas house and they start school on Monday.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-38218861071915651912010-08-18T12:52:00.001-05:002010-08-18T12:52:57.788-05:00Try againToday is day 4 without my boys, they are at grams, and lots to be done today. I drove for almost an hour getting lost again and again trying to find the Gulfgate Dodge dealership to get the oil changed in my hubby's car. I hate driving in Houston without my GPS. Lewis's poor stick shift car, mom is mucbh rougher on it than he is. But at least I am getting the oil changed for him.
After I finish, I have to go turn in the boys paperwork for K, i still can not believe how much out lives are going to change. Big boys start school and having a baby girl at home. Life is so good.

We have taken this kid free week to get the things done that we have been putting off for so long. Glad to be doing all this before this baby comes.

Thats about it for today... I think this will help me Blog easier, we will see.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-56454421189168016642010-08-18T12:44:00.001-05:002010-08-18T12:44:24.661-05:00Blogging from my phone
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.3.1
Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-38825874537873676332009-09-02T00:41:00.002-05:002009-09-02T00:47:26.391-05:00Crying kind of dayWell, The boys have been really good so far going to school. This morning they started wrestling on the floor with each other and then with daddy. The house was filled with big laughter. Grayson was sitting in the Bumbo watching and taking notes. Then it was time to get our shoes on and run, and I do mean run out the door.

We get to school the boys get out hugs and kisses later then off I go, or so I thought. Kenneth started crying... I dont know if it was because of so much fun with daddy or another little boy crying, but here come the water works. I got out and hugged him one more time and then he went in. He stood there looking through the glass wall like a sad puppy but 10 times worse. Tug Tug goes moms heart strings. Why does he have to do that??? I pulled off slowly with no crying. Then I was gone, wondering...

I picked them up and he had a blast. He could not wait to tell me everything he had done.

I started teaching them about calenders and teaching them to read. I am wondering if I am teaching them to much when they are not in Kendergarden yet. I want them reading before they start. I pray that have a love for reading, not like daddy and I.Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com20tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-28773690737142221782009-08-24T22:10:00.003-05:002009-08-24T22:17:46.557-05:00Baker Boys start school
The Baker Boys first day of Pre-K and they did great. No crying when Daddy and I dropped them off. Kenneth did cry some soon after but he was fine. Kyle did not want to leave. They are excited about tomorrow. It rained here late in the day so we had a nice walk after dinner and passed by their school and they were waving and saying hello school see you tomorrow. I am so happy for them and feel so lucky to be their mom. I so love my boys.

Please Lord let the time slow down some.Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-70536778989248554582009-06-14T21:15:00.002-05:002009-06-14T21:39:42.366-05:00Seeing Gods PathHow to start this.....I wanted to take a account of all that God has done for us the last few months. God has really been good, even though we are going through some changes God is really leading the way for us.

Background:

Lewis was let go from his Job of 4 year with Texas A&M University when Grayson was two weeks old, that was one week after his Paternity Leave. He has never had a bad evaluation until August 2008. Everything was great at home but the pressure he was feeling at work was really getting to him and you could tell. Lewis had to pull 2 weeks with the Guard to help with Hurricane Ike. While he was serving in Houston, something went wrong at the office and he was not there to fix it. He came back to the first write up he had ever received. Then at home I was 24 weeks pregnant and I ended up having Gallstones and had to have surgery. Lewis was by my side all day and night the whole time I was in the hospital for a week. He had the Sick Leave, he never took off unless he just HAD to. Again, something happened while he was out and he was written up again for the 2nd time and was told his job was on the line. What stress for him to deal with, it hurt him badly. He tried and TRIED his best to do nothing wrong. Then I was close to labor with our 3rd Son. He worked till 11:00PM to get everything done. He even took the two boys to his work to get a few more things taken care of while I labored at home with a coach. He was trying to dot all his i's and cross all his t's, but with all that he did they still found something and the 3rd and final write up came. He was let go Febuary 23, 2009. This is the part I want to concentrate one.

Provisions God has made for us:

Time, God gave us time, not just time to think but time to save. We saved a good amount of money to make a good number of months without a job.

Refinancing our home, God opened the door for us to refinance our home and we SIGNED papers ONE day BEFORE Grayson was born. This made it so we did not have to pay a house payment for 2 months and they sent us over a thousand back from escrow to put into savings.

Time of year, taxes were just filed and we got back a nice refund, we were able to use this to pay bills. Also, in July Lewis will be getting a bonus from the National Guard, this will also be used to pay our bills.

Comfort and calmness, I have been faithful that God will show us the way he wants to go. I know he is testing our Faithfuness and I am so greatful for this time.

It was also just confermed with the TWC that Lewis was Fired wrongly, so he will get back pay for unemployment benifits.

What we are praying for:

There are 4 job opertunitys that Lewis is up for.

Offier in the US Air Force

AGR spot at Ellington Feild

Recurter position with the Air Force full time enlisted

Education position with the Army

These are in order. The first two we will not fine anything out till September.

We know God is walking with us and guiding us.Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-19895928120121483062009-04-02T02:12:00.002-05:002009-04-02T12:17:51.751-05:00Baker boys Shaving Cream funIt was a rainy day at the Baker house, mom decided to let them paint in the bath tub and then get really messy. Fun story behind his room theme and everything. We were going to get the big ultrasound and knew it was a girl, no dough about it. God Grace. We were looking at the JC Penney's catalog together and Lewis and I picked on boys bedding that we both that was too prefect IF and only if this was a boy but its not. Little did we know God had a whole new plan. Grayson was confirmed some time later and work ordered it. We found this perfect run and love the way it looked. I got the letters and painted them all up and Lewis hung them over the crib. I really love the way it turned out and cant wait to see him in there. OK OK now I will give you the pictures. We are not professionals I just love doing my kids room as a hobby.

We are so ready for our Blessing to come.

Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-8642096638076499532009-01-28T14:55:00.003-06:002009-01-28T15:16:41.133-06:00One more belly shotLike the blue, that is Grayson's room. I am a little upset because there was nothing going on. I don't want to be induced so we will see Monday what she says. Hopefully something else is going on. This waiting is killing me. I can't wait to see him. I want to see who he looks like. I cant wait for Sarah to take his pictures. Cant wait to show him to everyone. I know, Gods timeing is PERFECT, but when you are 38 1/2 weeks pregnant its hard to be patience.

OH Sarah, I am in love with you. I have felt really good, and walked a lot this week. Only at night is when I hurt. We are getting ready for this baby, well we are ready. I can't wait to see his face. There are so many things I am looking forward to, having one baby to breast feed, one baby to get up with, one baby period, even though secretly we were hoping for twins. Its cool this time we are not scared, with the twins we were, we did not know what it really meant to take care of a baby, but now we are just looking forward to it. The thing that I am most looking forward too is Kenneth and Kyle being big brothers. They are going to make the best big brothers. They are always talking to Grayson and telling him that they love him now. They are so sweet. What did I do to deserve such great boys? God has truly blessed us.

I am going to the doc tomorrow to see if there is anything going on down there, Lewis is going with me. The doc said she will be stripping my membranes, and I bet that is going to feel wonderful, hee hee.

The boys also have a doc apt tomorrow, 4 year old wellness check just 2 months late. They will have 4 shots each, what wonderful time for us. YEAH.

I will update tomorrow.Baker Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18242454430794181185noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3204551685255423415.post-87561016433841124222009-01-20T13:33:00.005-06:002009-01-20T13:38:41.429-06:00Grayson and his brothers.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 228px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2rWt_J-O9pQzVm56d5RJMHyVVjByDb0ciJI-rxQJBBF6xDZXAyw8dt11nhmONtE7-19WNJItpxcKhdlWLXhQ8ksgSLAzwLKUXkl-i7sCpVr31eyd_9kpzAx_kwBa8DmrdKapBcDXUIT9w/s400/My+three+sons.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5293462130210967826" />
This pictures simply brought tears to my eyes. I am 35 1/2 weeks along and getting rather big and sore, (funny, I was not this bad with the twins that I can remember)

ANYWAYS, I am one centimeter dilated, mucus plug is gone, 50% effaced and Grayson is at a -2 station. They did an ultrasound on him they said he is 5lb 2oz, but I understand those are never right at the end, if ever. He is VERY head down, so VBAC here we come. She predicts two to three more weeks and that is it.

I can't believe I will be holding Grayson soon. We tried for 6 months to get pregnant and 9 months of waiting, holding him is long waited for. We have his room ready, and its pretty. I will take pictures soon.
